This snail is clearly signalling the letter P (for ‘prize’) in semaphore. I’m just sorry I couldn’t stay to transcribe the entire message. If I may hazard a guess, I imagine she was quoting John Bunyan.
And though she doth but very softly go,

lovely poem. I can learn a thing or 2 from that little guy. In Kauai I loved how slow the sea turtles moved. When they were on the beach, they would slowly go back into the water and wait for the waves to help them. So slow. No rush to get anywhere. Reminds me of the snail. 🥰
