Recently a brownie came to work on my smallholding. Despite the unusually hot weather he has been busy clearing bindweed and planting onions and so on. If the sun gets too hot, he rests in the shade of a tomato tree.
He is rather a good little fellow who moved down to our farm from an organic cafe in the big city where he was hanging around looking to trade the effort of his dibber for a free bed and dinner.
He seems to know his onions, and he is a hard worker, especially for his diminutive size.
